How did it go? Does the result show that you might have candidiasis infections? If that is the case don't worry about it I will introduce you to a cure for candidiasis shortly.

This is a treatment regime with a 100% success rate.

I suggest that you also read about the other candida tests that are described below.

Blood Tests

As described before blood tests are used to find candida antibodies because when candida takes on its fungal form, the immune system responds by producing special antibodies to fight off the infection. A large concentration of these antibodies in the blood is an indication of a candidiasis outbreak. Dr. L notes that "if the yeast antibodies are elevated and the test is positive, the yeast infection is active and threatening'"

However, as noted earlier, the antibody test may be misleading, because most individuals have candida organisms in their bodies.

Darkfield Microscopy

Darkfield microscopy is a way of studying living whole blood cells under a specially adapted microscope that projects the image (magnified 1,400 times) onto a video screen.

A skilled physician can detect early signs of illness in the form of microorganisms in the blood known to produce disease. Darkfield microscopy reveals distortions of red blood cells (which indicate nutritional status), possible undesirable bacterial or fungal life forms (like Candida), and other blood ecology patterns indicative of health or illness.

Stool Analysis

Another test that can be used is to conduct a stool analysis to diagnose candidiasis through a laboratory examination of a stool sample. If the stool contains abnormally large amounts of Candida, this may indicate candidiasis. The stool analysis can also look at levels of beneficial bacteria in the intestines as well as other digestive markers for determining Candida levels.

Electrodermal Screening

EDS works by placing a blunt, non-invasive electric probe at specific points on the patient's hands, face, or feet, corresponding to acupuncture points at the beginning or end of energy meridians. The electrodes are connected to a computer the trained practitioner conducts an "interview" with the patient's organs and tissues, gathering information about the basic functional status of those systems.

Minute electrical discharges from these points serve as information signals about the condition of the body's organs and systems, useful for the physician in diagnostic evaluation and developing a treatment plan.

The Candida Spit Test

You will find a lot of information on the internet about this test on the internet. I will give you few links to sites where it is discussed shortly.

However please be aware that this test has no scientific basis as far as we could establish. We could not find one single professional who are prepared to call this a proper test for candidiasis.  They all prefer the diagnosis of candidiasis by looking at your symptoms and they all say the very best and most accurate test is the questionnaire by Dr. Crook in his book "The Yeast Syndrome” which we have adapted and included for you in this book.

Having said that here is the test:

  1. First thing when you wake up in the morning don’t put anything in your mouth, get a glass of water in a clear glass that you can see through.

  2. It is recommended that you don't use tap water but use bottled water in stead.

  3. Collect saliva in your mouth with your tongue and spit it into the glass.

  4. Come back after 15 minutes and have a look in the glass leave it there for an hour and come and look at it every 15 minutes or so.

If you see any of the following, then it indicates the presence of candidiasis:

  1. Your saliva stays at the top and you see thin strands that look like strings or spider legs extending downward.

  2. Your saliva floats to the bottom and looks cloudy.

  3. Your saliva is suspended in mid-air and looks like little specs are floating.

See the picture below for guidance.

If there are no strings and the saliva is still floating after at least one hour, you probably have Candida under control, and have nothing to worry about.
